Greetings from the continental center of the United States of America! Here in the heartland of our great country, there has never been more of a need to plant churches than there is today. With churches all over closing their doors or straying from the old paths, America is in great need of solid, Bible-believing, Bible-preaching churches that will reach out in Christ-like love to the lost without compromising the Gospel or His plans for the local church.
Adam and Leah Langston have surrendered their lives to do just that! Reading the material they have sent you will give you a great idea of who they are and where they are from. For me, allow me to share something that I have seen to be one of their strongest attributes.
For over eight years now, God has been working in Bro. Langston’s heart to plant a church. This is not just a quick decision or something recently thought about. Throughout his college days and early in his years of full-time ministry, Adam has had a burning desire deep in his heart to “mark off a piece of ground and plant a church for the glory of God”. Though many opportunities to pastor an existing church have come his way, the Lord has continued to lead him in this direction. Additionally, Bro. Langston has made this decision through much prayer, Bible study, and counsel. Because of this, there is no question in his mind, or mine, that the Lord has called him to Junction City. With many church plants today not making it to maturity, I believe Adam Langston has the character, desire, and ability to make it long-term in planting Junction City Baptist Church.
A few years ago, God placed in my heart a desire to plant 20 churches out of Harvest Baptist Church in the great state of Kansas. When the Lord brought Bro. Langston our way and allowed us to see what He has been doing in both of our lives, it was amazing to see God’s plan and timing in this. We are excited to see the Langstons coming to our neighboring city to plant Junction City Baptist Church and look forward to planting this church in such a needy place!
Thank you for the time you have made to read this and consider supporting Adam and Leah in this very worthy church planting endeavor. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.
In His Harvest,
